About Holy Family Parish Minimize

Mission Statement: Holy Family Parish, a unified Catholic community, uses its talents, time and treasurers to create and nurture an environment in which faith grows and our relationships with God and our comunity are enhanced through worship, service, education and fellowship.

Holy Family Parish was formed on August 15, 2009 as the new parish for all Galveston and Bolivar Peninsula Catholics who were previously served by Holy Rosary parish, Mary Star of the Sea parish, Our Mother of Mercy parish, Reina de la Paz parish, Sacred Heart parish, St. Mary Cathedral Basilica parish, St. Patrick parish, St. Peter the Apostle parish and St. Theresa of Lisieux parish.

The parish office is located in Galveston, Texas. In addition to the five worship facilities throughout Galveston and Bolivar, Holy Family Parish has a Catholic School, Religious Education Programs and many opportunities to stretch your stewardship ministry and your sprirtual growth.
