I want to thank Jo Llewellyn for her service over the years. Jo has decided it is time to retire. Thank you Jo for your service at 7:30 AM mass and at 5 PM before Ike.
Also I want to thank David Kosturakis who is graduating from UTMB School of Medicine in June. He will be finishing up his service with us in March. David, best of luck, I know you will be a great doctor.

Many, many thanks to everyone who participated in the Holy Family-Galveston county Holiday Food Program. Our 2011 effort was tremendously successful! We distributed hundreds of bags of groceries that provided full Thanksgiving dinners to needy families all over Galveston County. So many of the recipients have asked that their heartfelt appreciation be conveyed to you for your unstinting generosity. Hopefully, you saw the pictures and story that were featured in the Galveston County Daily News on Sat., Nov. 19, 2011. The O’Connell students did a great job packing and distributing all the food that was donated to and purchased for the program with your generous contributions. Thanks again to everyone for your support!
